Fall Reading Retreat

Our Reading Retreat Event is not just about books; it's a holistic journey of self-discovery, relaxation and finding companionship. With comfortable accommodations and a tranquil atmosphere, this retreat is designed for those who seek solace in the written word. Join us for a day where time slows down, and the beauty of literature takes center stage. Immerse yourself in a world of stories, surrounded by the serenity of nature, and rediscover the joy of reading in its purest form.

Gather together on a crisp fall day for the love of reading and a good mystery. This reading retreat will be focused on all things mystery novel. When you arrive at the retreat you will have time to explore the estate and all of its historic charm. When everyone has arrived we will make introductions and hear from the innkeeper. After you find a cozy spot to settle into you will be invited to the dining room for lunch prepared by local chef, Teddy Boucard. After lunch and a reading session will be our first breakout activity, a scavenger hunt to take you far and wide across the property. Be the first to sleuth the clues with your team and find the prize! It will be the perfect time to exercise your detective skills. There will be another reading session which will be followed by our trivia game. All of the questions will be about mysery novels from the cozy kind to chilling thrillers.

To finish off the day join us by the campfire for smores and catching up with the other readers.
